Throughout his career, Marcus has worked alongside major corporations, manufacturers, construction companies, steel producers, equipment suppliers and industrial organizations, helping facilitate thousands of shipments and supporting complex projects throughout North America and around the world.
His expertise is particularly strong in flatbed and specialized transportation, including the movement of construction materials, structural steel, heavy equipment, CNC machinery, industrial equipment, oversized freight, prefabricated structures and project cargo.
Marcus’s experience extends well beyond simply arranging a truck.
He has managed projects from initial planning and transportation through final placement at the customer’s site, coordinating the specialized equipment, trades and resources required to complete the job safely and efficiently.
For prefabricated and factory-built homes, Marcus has coordinated transportation directly from the manufacturing facility to the construction site. This has included arranging specialized trailers, coordinating delivery schedules and site access, and having cranes and appropriate crews on-site to offload prefabricated sections and position them onto the prepared foundation.
For industrial and manufacturing clients, Marcus has coordinated the transportation and installation of CNC machines, production equipment and other high-value industrial machinery.
These projects can require far more than transportation. Marcus can coordinate millwrights, machinery movers, rigging crews, cranes, specialized trailers and other required resources to manage machinery from origin through delivery, offloading, rigging, positioning and installation within the customer’s factory or facility.
This provides clients with a more complete end-to-end machinery relocation and installation solution, including support through equipment placement and commissioning before machinery enters final production.
Marcus has extensive experience coordinating flatbeds, step-decks, double-drops, RGNs and other specialized equipment for freight that cannot simply be loaded into a standard trailer.
He understands that specialized transportation requires careful attention to dimensions, weight, equipment selection, securement requirements, permits, routing, border crossings, site restrictions, crane requirements, loading and unloading procedures and scheduling.
His experience also extends into international logistics and ocean freight, coordinating containerized cargo from origins around the world and managing its movement through ports and into North America for final delivery.
Over the years, Marcus has been involved in everything from individual high-value shipments to large-scale, multi-load transportation programs and specialized projects requiring extensive planning, multiple pieces of equipment, cross-border coordination, cranes, rigging crews, millwrights and strict delivery schedules.
What distinguishes Marcus is his ability to look beyond the transportation itself and understand the complete logistics lifecycle of a project.
Whether the project involves moving a CNC machine into a manufacturing facility, transporting heavy equipment across North America, positioning a prefabricated home onto its foundation, coordinating oversized freight or bringing containers across the ocean, Marcus focuses on bringing the necessary transportation resources and specialized professionals together under one coordinated plan.
Through Just Ship It Logistics, Marcus continues to provide organizations with a single point of contact for complex transportation and project logistics from initial planning and pickup through transportation, delivery, crane services, machinery rigging, millwright support, final positioning and commissioning support.
For Marcus, logistics isn’t simply about moving something from Point A to Point B.
It’s about taking responsibility for the entire movement and knowing how to move what others find difficult.
