Just Ship It Logistics coordinated the door-to-door international shipment of a complete CZ Purlin Roll Forming Machine production system, valued at approximately $2,000,000 USD, from Shanghai, China to the Greater Toronto Area. The 10-package, 55,000 lb (25,000 kg) system travelled in two 40-foot High Cube containers under a single point of contact from origin to final placement.

What Was Shipped
The production system arrived as 10 packages. The main roll forming machine and transformer together accounted for about 39,700 lb (18,000 kg), with the remaining 15,400 lb (7,000 kg) made up of supporting equipment:
The Challenge
This was not a standard container shipment. A roll forming line only works if every component arrives together, undamaged and ready for installation. With heavy industrial machinery, weight has to be distributed correctly across containers, each package has to be properly secured, and every handoff between parties is a point where delays or damage can occur.
The move involved coordination between the overseas shipper, the ocean carrier, the Canadian customs process, terminal operations, and final trucking into Ontario, followed by on-site placement of the equipment.
Our Solution
Just Ship It Logistics managed the project end to end, coordinating both 40′ HC containers from Shanghai through to the customer’s facility in the Toronto area. Our team handled transportation planning, container coordination, ocean freight booking, and the Canadian delivery requirements, keeping the customer informed at every stage.
Canadian customs clearance was coordinated through our customs brokerage partner, and final delivery into Ontario was arranged through our carrier network. On arrival, we coordinated a millwright crew to place, level and anchor the machine on site, so the customer received a production line ready for commissioning, not just a set of crates at the door.
Because one provider oversaw the entire movement, the customer had a single point of contact accountable from origin through final placement.
The Result
The complete 55,000 lb (25,000 kg) roll forming production system arrived in Ontario in two 40′ High Cube containers and was placed, levelled and anchored on site.
